We at Steel Kittens Video have a great respect for classic women professional wrestling videos. The women wrestlers featured in our collections are not just women to be acknowledged because they paved the way for the current wave of sports entertainers. They are great athletes and stellar performers who can still excite today as much as they did 20, 30, or even 50 years ago.

You simply cannot discuss classic women professional wrestling without discussing Mildred Burke. It was she who really established women's wrestling as a vital part of sports entertainment, and she had it all--the skills, the looks, the body, and the larger-than-life personality that make a star. In the 1950's, she started the World Women's Wrestling Association (WWWA), which was the first governing body specifically for women's wrestling.
After she retired in 1956, she trained over 2,000 women who went on to compete in a variety of styles of matches. Many of them are the women featured on our vintage and classic tapes, DVDs, scrap book and glamour girls photosets. Steel Kittens is also the proud owner of Mildred's personal training ring, and continues on with her legacy.
We have classic professional wrestling matches, title bouts, great highlights of mud wrestling, topless matches, and even the only known clips of nude professional wrestling by two of Mildred Burke's girls--Casey Carr and Cheryl Day. Another silent 8mm film digital transfer of Mildred Burke’s films of the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s. Millie knew what men wanted and had pretty blonde Lynn Black battle Cheryl Day in lingerie in an apartment house match. Also we see here Rhonda Singh in two early matches with Marlene and then Cheryl Day. Millie trained Rhonda, sent her to Japan where she became “Monster Ripper” to the Japs and Rhonda stayed in the Orient for almost her entire career.

10 Classic Professional Women's Wrestling Matches
Mildred Burke imported girls from around the world, and here we see Mexican pros as well as Lena Blair and Lola Kiss from England battling in Millie’s Gym in 10 classic professional women's wrestling matches. Also featured is Vivian Vachon, who has trouble against Millie’s girls in some very rare footage. These matches were transferred from silent Super 8mm film shot 30 to 40 years ago and now have been digitalized. The action is fierce and at times a little dirty. Walk backwards into time with these vintage matches.
